You probably already know, I’m Lauren - but you can call me Loz if you'd like! Until we meet in person, just imagine a 6ft tall weirdo squishing you in a big bear hug!
I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Newcastle, NSW, but I’d go anywhere and everywhere to capture your heart-filled moments - because I love to travel.
Smiley by nature, most will describe me as outgoing, easy-going, and silly. My friends will also have you know that I eat an entire bag of popcorn daily - at this point popcorn is basically part of my DNA. I have no self-restraint when it comes to a good cheese platter either. Food = life.
Since 2013 when I started my biz (and even before!) I’ve been so obsessed with being part of the raw, the candid and the beautiful parts of people’s lives through photography - and I want you to know you can rely on me to honour your story and make art of your memories. I’ve got you, boo!

Basically, if you’re worried about being awkward or camera-shy during your photography session, I’ll do everything possible to out-weird you. No matter what, I’ll make sure you’re feeling relaxed and that we’re having the best time!!!
I love hanging out with my friends and family over a good meal and glass of wine. My friends would describe me as half party girl half grandma, haha. I love to chill at home but I am always up for a good time. All that aside, I adore my baby Dougie, my almost 9-year-old Cavoodle who might as well have been birthed from my womb.
Here are some random fun facts:
— Love a clean house, but hate cleaning.
— Always down for a good Netflix binge.
— Must pat any dog or animal (sorry Dougie) that’s nearby.
— I bought my first profesh camera at aged 15. It's the ONE "hobby" I never wanted to give up, so I made it into my dream job (love that for me!).
— I will leave my house looking like Hagrid, I have no shame haha.
— Enjoy painting, but don’t do it near as much as I’d like to.
— I love going out to eat and/or having a few drinks with my mates.
I'm a big fan of travel, iced oat lattes, and watching tarot readings on Youtube
Without being cliched, YOU are my inspiration. It’s your one-of-a-kind story that inspires me to give my 110% to doing justice to your memories. I’m obsessed with people, their personal story, and their history (their battles and triumphs, beauty and disaster) - this is what you’ll see shining through in your photos. This is what makes you, YOU.
Seeing the raw and beautiful in everything, I also get creatively inspired by the most random things all the time. Whether it’s the way the light hits the wall, a beautiful movie scene, or the way someone is depicting an emotion, I’m a total daydreamer who’s always romanticising love and life in general.

Embracing your quirks and creativity, I’ll bounce off your style. Always matching the energy in the room, my goal is to capture images that you (and your nan) will be proud to display on your walls…no cheesy, cringy posed stuff, please.
Chasing the light, head in the clouds, most would describe my photography style as sun-warmed, feel good, and effortless. Allowing your natural charm and personality to take the spotlight, it’s about capturing you just as you are. Imperfectly perfect, it’s not so much about how the photos look but rather, how they make you FEEL.
